Founded in November 2024, the Swasth India initiative aims to empower vulnerable communities with access to hygiene and sanitation through a multi-pronged approach. This begins with the Prevention Pathways Curriculum, a six-part original curriculum that teaches parents practical methods, techniques, and practices that they can instill in their children in order to cultivate proper hygiene habits. This resource is aimed specifically towards low-resource settings, and therefore contains information that is accessible and culturally and contextually relevant. The initiative also aims to curate the Supporting Sanitation Database, which is a comprehensive collation of existing public welfare policies and government schemes that are related to health and sanitation, which individuals from underserved communities can avail of.
Additionally, Swasth India will develop the Hygiene Heroes Soap, a limited-edition sustainable product in collaboration with Raj Superwhite to promote eco-friendly hygiene practices among children and adolescents. Our aim is also to undertake initiatives to distribute the Healthy Habit Kits. These essential kits will include a number of basic important items such as soap, sanitizers, face masks, and water purification tablets. Through the combination of these elements, Swasth is committed to making a tangible difference in the lives of children by enhancing their health outcomes and thereby improving their quality of life.
